Ryan Porter has been blogging for nine years; his first website was a personal blog where he learned the basics of writing and enjoyed expressing himself on a variety of topics.
His favorite pastimes are reading and writing science fiction and fantasy literature, hiking, video games, and amateur radio. He also volunteers much of his time as Elders Quorum President in his local Latter-day Saint congregation.
